Richmond Area Mid-Atlantic Off Road Enthusiasts

RVA-MORE is a chapter of Mid-Atlantic Off Road Enthusiasts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Northern Virginia/ District of Columbia that was formed in 1992. Together, the two organizations represent thousands of mountain bikers and maintain over 115 miles of urban trail.

The Richmond chapter, an all volunteer organization formed in 2005, is dedicated to improving the state of mountain biking in the Greater Richmond Virginia area.

Their work includes:

  • Organizing rides
  • Maintaining and developing trail systems
  • Providing funding for trails projects
  • Conducting educational programs for adults and children
  • Promoting inclusion of mountain biking in parks
  • Working with localities to promote and protect cyclists rights

Their work is supported through membership, donations, corporate sponsorships, and volunteer efforts.
